Just back from another road trip of 1250 miles last night much nicer than flying around and the cabin service was excellent!

Started in Uxbridge near London
Up to Scarcroft in Yorkshire
Over to Bolton
Up to Edinburgh with an overnight stay
Over and Up to inverness
Up and over to Aberdeen for another overnight
Back down through Edinburgh back to Warwickshire.

At each stop I visited clients (new and old)

She never missed a beat, LPG all the way

Had a Brown Trouser moment when I nearly put it in a ditch on the A702 (Moffett to Edinburgh) when I was pushing it on a wet and windy mountain road at night. You tend to forget the explorer has a very simple rear suspension.

And coming back over the A68 (Edinburgh to Newcastle), all four wheels went airbourne (it's a long straight roman road that is straight up and down hills and valley's - still I was doing 95mph at the time.

worst thing is I have nothing to fix on her this weekend

So your fiddling with the gas system has payed off and now running A+. Good work.
Maybe a deep wash and polish to reward her.

I apy the local Polish car wash for that :)

nice.

i stay about 3 miles from moffet in a little village called(rosewell)

moffet is quite bad at night.

wish i knew i coulda gave u my address etc as i have 2 explorers and not many have them up here in scotland.

I usually stay in Moffat, thought it a nice place, best western hotel and a really good chip shop (deep fried haggis my favorite :D) there again I do visit some rough places in other parts of the world.

Wife and I always talk about us moving to Scotland (one day)

cheers
