Driving home from work today, I realized that my horn sounded muffled and after googling the issue, it said that it could be a wiring issue, or blown fuse. I also realized that after changing my batter terminal connectors, that they are super corroded, is this most likely a battery issue and should I just get a new one?

Corroded terminals does not necessarily mean you need a new battery...

I am aware of that, however this has been an ongoing issue and it is occuring on both terminals, whereas it usually just occurs on one and can signal undercharging or overcharging.

So I cleaned my battery terminals and the horn is now working, so I am thinking that was the electrical issue. I want to prevent this from happening in the future, because I have tried grease before and it has not worked.

I use brass terminals and treated felt battery terminal washers. Barely any corrosion for me after I switched.
