I've been fighting P0171 and P0174 codes on my 1997 X for a few weeks. I have the OHV motor and I tried everything, cleaning the MAF, IAC, EGR tubes, checked all vac lines and air intake lines, checking the lower intake manifold bolts, etc. Nothing worked. Finally I let the dealer check it out today, the lower intake manifold o-rings are shot. I had a talk with the tech and they told me they have been seeing more and more of this on OHV's as well and it's NOT just the SOHC engines that were effected.
