I just put a crank kit in my '97 Explorer 4.0L SOHC and am having problem with timing the balance shaft. I followed the instructions in my manual (Haynes). I cranked the engine the first time and it started right up. The only problem is there is alot of shaking in the motor. People have told me that the balance shaft is out of time..Any recommendations out there??
