Have a 96 Explorer XLT. The pin going from the bracket to the top ball joint on the liftgate strut broke on the right hand side. The thing dang near knocked me out cold when it broke.
Anyone have any pointers, in particular pics, on how to remove the remainder of the pin rusted into the bracket and then replacing the struts?
Am a little slow so I need step-by-step instructions, how-to pics or maybe a link to a fix. Found a couple of posts with similar problem on this forum but no detailed instructions for the fix.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
