Band Adjustment? Bad VB? Or dead tranny

There are 2 servos on the passenger's side of the transmission. The heat from the exhaust could cause them to dry out, and leak. They apply pressure to engage the bands.

I really want to find out the fix for this, mine is doing almost the same thing ( i posted it but removed it after I read this post)
although not as severe and I do not have my OD light flashing.

The servo covers have a large round clip holding them in place. You have to compress the cover, and pry the clip off without damaging it. The servo is inside.

i think that i am having the same problem. i have a 02 explore with a 5r55w transmission. i am getting same code p0775. pressure ctrl sol. b circuit malfunction. do not have 2nd gear unless you let off the pedal. read a lot of treads tonight and looks like the servo's are most likely the problem. some cases the solonoid pac fixes them for awhile but most of the time seems like a short fix. may need the sol pac if over 100,000 anyway and the reflash

Sometimes it could have a cracked servo or the servo bore could be worn down. These are common issues on the 5R55W transmission.

I dont have any time to do it right now. I got swamped with work and school. When I get a chance to look at it, ill update this

I wont go into full details. But this all started about 8 months ago because my truck got dipped into a pond.. half way to the door, for about 2 full minutes. Luckily it didn't get waterlogged. But just by chance, anyone think this could be a sensor problem? Like a throttle position sensor? Or any other sensor? Thanks
