if they have one and you come up to get it let me know its only a couple miles away we should meet up

Will do, maybe we can grab a bite or something.

cool...last time i was there they had like 5-6 f 350s........

I called up Camps and they said they'd get back to me, but I found another shop that has one. The shop is in Paterson, NJ. I'm probably going to go tomorrow. They close at 2pm so if anyone wants to meet up after that time, give me a location -- hopefully not too far from the highways ;)

I got a HP front 60 for sale.....:D

Incindentally, Iz... you know how I have that bad habit of naming everyone's trucks? Well, I think I found a good one that's simple and straightforward for yours.

Same name as this guy :D

Then maybe the newbs will stop thinking your truck is black

Ahah thats a great guy.. I watch that show every now and then.

Blooregard "Bloo" Q. Kazoo at his finest (favorite episode):

To update this GD thread, today I picked up a kingpinned F-350 Dana 60 :D. It wont go under the Explorer till spring so the buildup will be slooow... but the plan is to stuff it with a Detroit locker :D

I always wondered where the 'Hot in Topeka' thing in your sig came from, LOLZ. Blooregard it is :D

On an aside.... I just laughed so hard I had to go use the bathroom immediately.

Oh, and congrats on finally getting an axle that can stand up to your right foot!!! :D

Im going to have to beat you with the shafts I bought for you.

Okay so Im slowly gathering parts and pieces for the Dana 60 and this tool came in today.. I think this is the funniest tool I've ever owned, its a 7/8" allen wrench (for removing the kinpin) -- its HUGE!!

Too cool. It looks like a fake! You gotta show it in use!

I have one of those :D

show us some pics of the D60.

What's gonna happen to the D44?

Sorry I dont have pics of it yet but its still in my van waiting to be moved out -- cauz its so freaking heavy. Sometime next week I'll pull a few of my friends to help me move it in for the winter. Right now I'm pulling an hour here and there building an axle-stand so I can work on it properly.. I'm pretty picky about my work space, it's gotta be PERFECT:D.

But the axle itself is just like any other Ford RC D60 .. 8 lugs, driver's side differential, high pinion, kingpin, huge ass hubs, beefy u-joints -- all the goods :D. The plan is to throw a Detroit locker in it, some 5.13's, hi-steer arms, and do another full-hydro setup on it.

As for the D44, that's going to be for sale after the D60 is bolted onto the vehicle.

If I didn't get this D60, the backup plan was to make a hybrid 609 which is a Ford 9" with D60 outers. Chevy D60's are a lot cheaper than Ford D60's so that would be the donor for the outers.

hey iz im sure u know of the 60 bible rite?????btw sorry i couldnt meet up with you i was caught up in some shiz andblah blah blah...oh, and how much coinage for the axle and howd ya get it in the van?

Yeah thats okay, I actually was running kind of late and needed to be home before it got dark.

Well the price will be undisclosed until the axle is under the vehicle ;). But it was loaded into the van with a forklift.
