Searched through many threads. I guess it would have been too easy for Ford to use standard single point Cables to a Buss-bar then split it. Now we are all stuck with buying OEM so the + side can fit proper to the Starter solenoid on the Fenderwell while the other end runs to the other side of th ecar to the Starter. Not to mention the way one cable assembly runs into two different wire sheaths.
I hate "new" cars.

You can always make your own...

I used NAPA for the terminals, Rural King for the negative wire, Ovation for the positive wire and I already had misc. wire eyelets and shrink tubing. I removed the old harness first then measured and cut carefully because like you said Ford kind of ran it all over the damn place. :D

Insert cheap picture plug here----

Yeah that definatly looks pretty.

Your stater has TWO bolts on the bottom of it?

mine just has one on top, and one on the bottom.

uhmmmm. No, I broke that bottom bolt off and what a pita it was to drill it out. I replaced it with a stud and nutted it from both sides. :)

I really don't want a pretty truck Creager.:rainbow:

haha you ass. Your starter is definatly purty.

I also built myown terminal..

I used grounding lugs (like you use in a house circuit breaker box).. I then put plasti-dip on the ends to keep air/water/corrosion out..

I used a dual wire lug for the main wires to the battery and a single for the wire for the amplifiers..
