Battery voltage and alt. code

CEL showing P0620 code (generator control circuit). research points to bad alternator. Testing voltage, I'm getting 12V with engine off, but 11.7V with engine running. Also getting the red battery indicator on dash while running. No other symptoms, everything runs and turns on ok for now.

I would say bad alternator you should get over 14v when the car is running.

Autozone tested and confirmed bad alternator. New one in and code gone. Getting 14.2V while running now.
