best replacement speaker

Alrighty, I've blown the speaker in the x and the static's a bit annoying. I'm not looking to create some 14000 watt monster I'm just wondering what your opinions are on the best replacement speakers. I mainly listen to metal (slayer, slipknot,G'nR, etc) with some occassional blues and classical. Oh yeah, I don't wanna spend a fortoune, under $300 is good Thanks

that is a killer setup but overkill for this X, won't be too much longer afore she's a trail rig. I just went ahead and orders some pioneer A6870R's, seem to have good review and decient price. I'm saving my serious cash for a 57 chevy.
