Best SPL setup???

I am running two 12" right now but soon i want to go for four 12". I will be building a custom box for them and i have a few good box design that i have drawn up but i wanted to know what is the best way to place the subs for best SPL (Up,down,back,etc.)??

Please give me all yalls input on this

well, I'll also be runnin 4 12"s...
so far the best ways for me have been...
-CRX style box, subs up, port back
-Subs up, port up all the way to the rear

But I think I may go to a wall later next year...
Do a bunch of testing to find out the best for your subs and your vehicle.

what about face them down would this make them any louder than facing up??

i am also runing 4 12" and i have them fasing up and port firing up. i only have one fosgate 700x on them and i am at 148.9 they are running at 175watts a peice and i could be running 700 a peice

Burns, do you have any pics of that setup? I am designing a box for 4 12's with ports facing up, i'd like to see what you did for yours.

mine is a little diff now. its doing 153.7 on the term lab 2 12"

every time i do it it shows up for me on the preview and then a little bit later it goes away i dont get it
