Ok... im sure this has been covered before. But searching for it could take me a while lol I was just curious as to what is the largest tire i could fit on a stock 2002 Xplorer Sport. Right now i got dinky lil P235/70R/16's that look like car tires lol I know the 4x4 sport runs P255/70R/16's and was wondering whether or not the P265/75R/16's would fit in the wheel well without rubbing? Thanks guys

265/75/16 is like the equivalent to 32" tires.... I think for a stock X you are better off in the 29-30" range, and 31"s will probably fit, but IMO if you want 31"s, you want a 1-2" lift.

I only have 1"tt and shackles and I am easily running 265/75/r16 BFG Mud terrains. Slight rubbing at full turn but they look great and give the ex a whole new stance.

Pics don't do justice to the new stance.

wow... that thing looks mean. Same color as mine too That helps a lot, thanks man. I was thinking bout the shackles and t-bar crank but hadn't set my mind on it yet. Hows ur ride now with that done? Thats the one thing that is keeping me from doing it, i didn't want it to become too stiff of a ride.

Thanks, appreciate it. I didn't even notice a change in ride before the tires. The only difference with the tires is the normal humm of mud tires (which I like-but I also don't drive a ton) but no difference in ride quality.

I was thinking about buying some 32s for my 01 sport and now that I see ECU's sport with those I'm definately going for it. Man those look great. I already have the shackles and TT so I'm set... all I need to do now is hop on that winter job :)
A friend of mine wants to sell his 32x11.50 tires. Is 11.50 too wide?

I have LT265 75 R16 on my 98 sport, i don't have any problems with rubbing, although i don't hit jumps and get air borne ( i also have Timbren ride control installed so my suspension is extremlely cushioned and doesnt allow it to bottom out.

I'm a FIRM believer in these products!!

Anyone intrested can contact me at (705) 848-3618 as i am an authorized distributor of their products.

i think you will rub with 11.5...id go 10.5 with a 32...radial tsls come in 32x10.5...

lol, matt 98,, that's kinda funny. I too dont dare take mine anywhere crazy, I have 265-70-16's, and only rubs at full turn. I dont have any lifts, or touched the torsion bars, or any trimming as well, and according to 4lo.com, they are equivilant to 31's,. Good luck, they will change the look dramatically!

i've got 31x10.5's on stock 15" wheels. no rubbing at all, even before a little TT
