You need a new FPR ;)

Any check engine light? If not and it's that bad then it's not the O2 sensor.

Black smoke= high hydrocarbons

Running that rich will cause your catylitic converers lifespan to shorten. After you are driving around for awhile are your cats glowing red?

Get it fixed. Check your FPR as mentioned above.

what is the fpr and where is it located ..thks for the help

and yes tyhe check engine light comes on and off every once in a while

Get the CEL codes checked at your local autozone just to be sure.

Search for "FPR" or "Fuel Pressure Regulator" and you'll come up with tips for replacing it.

thks alec..i will head to auto zone and i found the fpr..will replace today..thks

Did you ever check to see what code was causing your cel to flash?

Was the problem the FPR?

Update requested please....:D
