Heyo!
So I just go off the phone with a representative from Steelcraft Automotive (http://www.steelcraftautomotive.com/) and he said they still had the plans and machinery to make the forbidden fruit that we call tail light guards for the Gen 1 Sport Trac. I asked the guy the price and he said they would run for around $112.00 but he could only put an order in if there was 10 or more people who were interested. We kept talking and he said the order would take around 2-3 months to process which is the only real downfall.
This is just an idea, if there are a lot of people interested then I will keep talking to this guy and try to get the price lower, and a better estimate on how it will all work out for a group buy. Let me know, post comments or concerns here and maybe we can get this ball rolling!
I tried to pull a similar call with Westin Automotive (http://westinautomotive.com/) who use to make them as well, but the guy said pretty much I had no chance in hell that they would do a special order for these taillight guards.
