I don't know how many of you have had trouble bleeding the hydrolic system on these Mazda trannies, but I finally got it after months of agony, and some extra $$$ spent in parts that did not need replacing. This system is not bled like most hydrolyc systems.

The following are instructions from the Ford Service manual. I met a service specialist who was kind enough to make me copies from the manual. This procedure fixed my probbklem in minutes.

I thought I would share it with every one!!

This link will direct you to an Acrobat file with the instructions.

Juan, I'm going to put that file in the Explorer Tips section.

Great idea Rick.

I hope it helps plenty of people.

i cannot open this link from anywhere that i have tried so far does anyone know the steps without the liink n could possibly post instruction directly to this page? that would be very helpful as i am having difficulty with my 92 explorer.

This thread is 14 years old, so the link is surely dead.

But, yeah it would be good if someone had the info saved and could post it.
