2013 FPIU
Hi.

Have a 2013 FPIU, with manual climate controls (no dual zone) and the right side blend is not working.

Bought a new blend door actuator, but this vehicle neither has an existing blend door actuator, nor, the wiring for it. And the shaft that protrudes from the heater core, has NO teeth in it for the new actuator to turn.

If I put my pinky finger in the shaft, and twist, the blend door switches the right side from hot to cold, and vice versa.

Any suggestions on what is going on?
My only thought was that the right side is slaved to the left side, but is somehow broken.... not sure. Can't find any other examples of this issue.

Thanks

Welcome to the Forum Nigel.
This is the first time that I have seen a post like yours. I can't recall any other member with the same issue and there are several blend door problems posted in the "Discussion Forum". Hopefully, someone will have an answer for you.
