Blend Door

Hi guys, i am wondering how to figure out which blend door i need to repair my 1998 explorer w/manual heat and air controls. On Napa's website they offer two blend doors. One is $12.99 and the other one is $71.99 The 12.99 blend door says it has to be installed through the dashboard area, the 71.99 blend door says it has to be installed through the glove-box area. If you guys could help me it would be much appreciated

There's a blend door and an air distribution door.
The blend door should be a $12 or less part.
IIRC I got mine at Rockauto for about $8 bucks.

i got mine at the local parts house for 12.99

Got mine at Rock Auto for about $15, but the kit included some extra pieces for different size plenums...better than shop dealer price of about $1200!

Go in thru the underside of the glove box...easy-peasy!
