Blower Motor Resistor

Last fall I put in a new blower motor resistor as the cheapest shot at fixing my ac problem. The real problem was the blower motor itself, which I replaced last week and it worked fine. Yesterday, the fan would not work unless it was on the highest setting - direct current at that setting I believe. Is this a problem caused by a bad resistor?

Yep, I had the same problem with my 91. It would only work at the highest setting for the fan. I may be wrong, but I think they won't work even if they over heat just one of those little resistors in the cluster. You should be fine if you replace it. Hope that helps.
