Blower resistor switch.

1996 ford explorer, 4 wheel drive Eddie Bauer. The fan for air condition only works on high. This model has climate control. Bought a resistor switch and the one located on the lower right of the fan motor is not the same. Parts store said the part I have is by the book but they do not match. Is there a different part or is my resistor in a different place?

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the A/C & heater section. The speed control resistor is only used with manual controls. Automatic climate control uses an electronic module to control the speed.

I have the same problem, just where is tihs module?
