Hi members! Everytime I move my power seat, drivers side, in my 02 XLT the fuse blows. Most of the times on the first move. Could it be something simple to repair or would I have to replace the whole power seat?

Thanks for the quick replay, Yes i have always replace it with same amp fuses.

the seat could be binding on some thing also is there any thing else that is on that circuit????

The wiring harness and connector look to be in great shape. I don't know what else is on that fuse but it will not blow until I move the seat. By the time the seat is in the new position the fuse will blow. Sometimes it does not blow on the first move. If I don't try to move the seat the fuse has no problems.

It could be a pinched wire without insulation.
