Too bad I didn't start my build later or else I would take that trac bar off your hands. Sounds like we're gonna finish about the same time...I don't know about you but i'm tired of working on my junk, I just wanna wheel it!

I'm not even as far as you guys, and in the words of the jefe brothers....Ditto! :(

yea i know how you feel too guys.

Hell...I've been sick and tired of working on my junk for 2 months! That's why whenever my buddies come over I end up working on their trucks doing small stuff cause I'm sick of working on mine. :D Thank goodness this is the last MAJOR project for the truck (where it's not drivable) The stuff that's soon to come won't take long to do (bumpers, cage, etc)

2 months? WTF I worked on mine for 6! no excuses!
I've been working on it for something around 3 tho. I actually somewhat enjoyed the first month(minus the fact that I was working(@ work and on the truck)/going to school 18-20 hours a day.), cause I was thinking if I worked on it a lot it'd be done soon..obviously not

im gona have like a team when i start working on mine. im trying to get it to a one week down time...

thats the way to do it. when i finally get all my link parts in my and my buddy are going to try to get it sitting on the axle, with 3 link done, and rear all done in a weekend

Here's the pics I promised last week.

I ground out the caliper brackets and now they sit perfectly. I also got the rest of it setup so I just need to bend the brake lines to fit right. These rear brakes are huge...and everything ended up fitting perfectly! I'm glad I went with 16" wheels because I'm not sure that I could of fit 15s. Before I ground down the bracket (the caliper sat up 1/2" too high) I couldn't fit on a 15" wheel. I'm gonna try again tomorrow, just to see. For anyone wondering what I used for the disc conversion, I updated the first post with all the parts used. The hard work/hours of research was well worth it, cause I saved about 350 dollars instead of buying the disc brake conversion kits, which usually make you buy your own calipers anyways, (so you have the option of e-brake or not). Anyways, my neighbor is back now, so he's probably gonna weld everything for the back tomorrow afternight, hopefully some for the front too. BTW, I cut my bumper and cleaned up the cuts so it looks much better. It'll be good for now, until I finish up the winch bumper.

Ohhhh indeed indeed. How much is all this going to costy cost cost (w/o the ARBy ARB ARB) ?

I'm just trying to see how much a 9" would have cost.
Right now I'm settling on a 14-bolt w/ a Detroit.

Well, my price won't help you. I'm getting everything at cost. I'm paying about as much for my ARB as you'll pay for your Detroit

BTW, After seeing Jason's bling bling bling red calipers on the Sami...I'm thinking about painting all 4 of my calipers red, or silver if they have that color at the auto parts store. 1. To make people notice that I've got 4 calipers instead of two 2. Because Jason's Sami dynoed (while on jackstands  ) an extra 5hp from each caliper!

Burn on jason, lol I've seen them.

Reason #1 makes you a ricer. Mine are unpainted and people still notice my truck???

Bryan what brake calipers and rotors are you using? They do look big.

I'm painting all 4 of my calipers Red ;)
