BMXking's Axle Swap 1st gen. Coils/Radius Arms!!!

Well, I finally decided to start a thread on it. For those of you who don't know, I will be doing a full-width swap. High-Pinion Dana 44 front and Ford 9" rear. I am still looking for the HP D44, but I picked up the 9" Monday. I have never really done a lot of work on axles, so this will definitely be a long process, but I have already done a lot of research about this(and am still learning a TON). I plan on doing as much of it myself as I possibly can, but will have a shop do the regear for me.

I hate you.

I loved your truck, and still love the work put into it, but those tires just destroy it.

Working on a lot of new stuff for the truck. Tinted windows, Reid Racing (formerly Dedenbear) knuckles, BTF hi-steer arms, BTF truss and diff cover, BTF link brackets, TJ lower coil mounts, TJ coil buckets, custom 4-link (two lower links straight from frame to axle, two upper links from lower arm to BTF truss), finally install my Superlift track bar, as well as new bumpers and winch.

I was planning on getting BFG muds, but they were on a 3 month back order in the size I wanted. I decided to get these cause they should have decent mileage in them for a 37" fairly aggressive tire, and I need a nice tire since it's still my DD (the Creepy Crawlers got next to none...8k miles from new to completely bald). Plus they were super cheap.

How is the screen on that pyle deck? I know Pyle isnt a Alpie but how does it look? Ive been thinking about getting a dvd player for my truck.

It's got a surprisingly good picture. I'm happy with it for the price I paid for it.

How do those tires destroy the truck? How much more offroad or agressive can you get than Swampers? The wheels, on the other hand, are a little blingin'.

Let me know when you order your BTF ****. I'll keep an eye out for it. :D

I dont think they are blingin but i would just be afraid to hit them on the rocks on the trails.

sorry I meant wheels, the tires are fine. I just dont like seeing "low profile" tires on an offroad truck :D

very very nice, i like the wheels, you should of got 37x13.5r17 baja claws, but its still sweet

Hey those rims are awesome in the rocks. You look like a rock star as the outer rim beads are scrapping on rocks. Seriously, good job- but lame, useless, and overpriced rims.

lol.. They look good man.

nice wheels/tires. i'm not a fan of low pro off road, but 37's with 17's is borderline, and looks really good in my opinion.. i'm hoping to go with 37's/17's but i dont think i'll be able to afford blinging rims like you got. nice to know that it will look good

two thumbs up!!

be careful of the sidewalls on those SSRs. They are paper thin. Looks good though. Are the rims steel or Aluminum?
