pics don't work dude.

Fixed them all.

She's a beaut!

Very nice. Keep it up BMX.

Well I have FINALLY extended my diff. breathers. I used about 20ft and ran the front and rear breathers up into the engine compartment on the driver side. I couldn't get the rear breather to go between the frame rail and gas tank, so I ran it on the outside of the frame rail next to the e-brake cable.

I should be getting a few new things soon. An open K&N from NOTAJP, a 48" Hi-Lift, some F-250 shock towers (for the SAS), and some custom sliders.

Today I went over to C.W. Offroad to talk to them about having my sliders built. They are backed up until the middle of next week, but said they might be able to get them made after that. The sliders are going to be like JasonB's. The price will be about $200.

I also talked to them about a front winch bumper. I brought in a picture of JoshC's X and showed them that I wanted something similar to his front bumper. They said just to let them know when I want it and they'll be able to build it. Then they told me that when it is built, they will put some pics of it on their site since you NEVER see any offroad Explorers around here. The price for the winch bumper is going to be around $400.

After the sliders, I am going to be doing one of two big mods next but I haven't decided which will be first:
-Winch bumper
-Manual BW1354 T-Case Swap

On Monday, I found out that if you get in deep water, like almost door level :D, the tranny breather is really close to getting filled with water. So today I had some time after school to extend the tranny breather to the engine compartment. Also, I was able to barely jam another zip-tie on the throttle cable, so now there is no slack at all. I made an appointment with C.W. Offroad for next Thursday to have some sliders made. Can't wait :bounce:

Also, I have been talking with a guy in TN who has a HP Dana 44 with all the stock Bronco parts I'll need for an SAS. He said he'd sell me all the parts I need and the axle for $400. When I go to C.W. on Thursday, I'll talk to Mike about doing a SAS on my truck. When I get the axle, I plan on doing the brakes, hubs, etc. and pretty much anything else I can do. Then I will pay them to do the stuff I can't do, like regear, SOA, and getting that axle hooked up under the truck.

I found a K&N breather from my dad's K&N intake that he didn't need for his, so today I added that on top of the vent tubes. I found a temporary spot for the Hi-Lift. I didn't think it would fit in the cargo area, but it barely does. Also, I detailed my whole truck today and steam cleaned the carpet to get the mud out from when I got stuck on Monday :fire: Tomorrow I am picking up a V12 1000watt Alpine amp from 924wdbeginer, so hopefully I can get it working again.

So ricer filters have a use! Lookin good man, I say get a 5.0!

LMAO :D If your tranny breather was only a couple inches above the water that your truck sat in water for 1.5 hours, you too would be doing anything you could to help prevent water from getting in it. ;)
I am either swapping in a 5.0 or doing some serious performance mods to my 4.0. If I don't get a 5.0 I'll just buy a mustang :burnout:

Here's a few pics from last Monday. First is me stuck, next is getting winched out, and third is the Bronco that really saved my a$$.

tranny breather? you have a manual? i just pulled my tranny out last week, i didnt see a breather... unless its not a M5R1?

Yeah, mine is a manual. I have the stock M5OD.

... hrmm explain to me where the breather hose on our trannys... or were you talking about the t-case or the diff's and i made up the whole tranny breather hose in my head?

No, I haven't extended the t-case yet. The tranny breather hose was located near the front driveshaft (if you have 4x4). If I remember right, it was to left and above the driveshaft. Hope this helps. :)

Well, I finally got some sliders!! It was definitely worth the wait. I think they look great. They are .120 wall, 1.5" DOM. They obviously haven't been painted. I'll post again later with the link, but the shop took pics and I am going to be on their site! :bounce: Now for the pics.
