My radio gear finally arrived friday. Put it all in to my two planes friday night and went flying yesterday. (pic)
The Hydro went first since I could play with it without leaving solid ground. This thing cooks

I skimmed around on the ground for a few minutes before getting daring. I started playing with elevator to see if it would hop. It took a bit of playing to get the right amount of down elevator followed by up elevator to get it off the ground, and when it did it went vertical.

Pulled out of it and got it flying level but was shocked and disoriented and slammed it straight on into a brick wall.

It was still mostly operational, but had opened up a previous 'wound'. (don't mount a motor that gets hot with low-temp hot glue

) I took it for another spin and got it off the ground again, but came back down too hard and that finished it off for the day by ripping off the motor mount. (pic) Total time ~ 5 min, flight time 20 sec
The Park Shark got a good dozen flights in, and about 20 mins of flight time. A couple of them were cut short by a few trees. Only one stuck though. (pic) Also had a problem with a sticking rudder so it would go into a downward spiral. It survivied all the unplanned landings except the last where it landed tail first and even then it just broke a control horn.
Both are now fixed, charged up, and have some improvements so if the weather is good tommorrow we'll see if I can't keep them in one piece for a while longer.

I should really find someone to take some action shots.
