Hey guys,
I'm new here but it looks like you guys are good bunch so this is worth a shot. My 2005 Mercury Mountaineer has been making this crunching/rubbing/scratching noise mostly from the driver side footwell. You can only hear the noise when turning at low speeds. After months of looking and asking around, I believe the body mount bushings have been worn down and basically the body is rubbing on the frame.
If you guys can confirm this, could someone link a set of bushings I could buy online because the dealer is quoting me $500 bucks for 4 bushings.
Would appreciate any and all feedback because the noise is driving me insane.
