I was wondering if there are any drawback to body lifts with suspension lifts? Why dont some shops do it?

Some shops don't do it because they say too high is unsafe. The theory being if you have a 3" body lift, a 4" susp wuold make it unsafe.

Would you prefer me doing this? Addig a 3 inch body lift to a 4inch suspension. My suspension lift isnt that high enough.

I have a 3" Bl with a 3" suspension lift, running 33's. I have not noticed any difference in handling on or off road. Of course it is a truck and I don't try to drive it like my mustang around corners and such. The only drawback, if you want to call it that. The BL took some modifications i.e. the steering shaft, i had to relocate it downwards appox. 1/2" to get rid of the binding, this was in conjunction with using the steering shatf extension that came with the kit. Other than that the Performance Accesories BL kit is very user friendly..just be prepared for the front two bolts behind the front fenders on both sides, I douched them everyday w/ penetrating oil for a week and still had troubles removing them

for the front bolts take a crazy long extension nd take the nuts off the topside first. Then take out the bolts from the bottom. They come out like cake this way. The rear most bolts are the ones that broke on mine and PAExplorers when trying to remove
