Can someone give me the book hours for front end work? 2001 Explorer V8 AWD.

I need both upper ball joints, which means one full control arm and one half of a control arm.

Also, one lower ball joint and 4 tie rod ends with boots.

thanks.

Both upper control arms calls for 1.3-1.6 hrs, and one ball joint is 1.3-1.6 or both for 2.4-2.7, thats 2012 Chilton. And both inner tie rods is 1.3-1.6 which obviously includes removing the outers and reinstlling them, that includes resetting the toe. What a coincidence everything is the same amount!

Does Chilton differentiate between the drivers and pass side control arm? One is a two piece and to remove the ball joint you don't need to undo the control arm bushings. Guess its really not that big of a labor savings.

I assume you mean that the 1.3-1.6 is for BOTH control arms together? Or is that each. I think its each...

Thanks for you help.

that was for both

More time for the driver side than the passenger, but both of them is what I listed.
