here's the deal...i have the opportunity to get either system for relatively cheap in my opinion and what to know which is better....

I've heard that gibson performs the best and people say that borla is too expensive but lets just say that I can get either for less than $350...which would you choose?

thanks in advance

hard to believe that no one has an opinion on this....

If you have a 4.0L get the borla system. If you have the 5.0L get the gibson. Same results diffrent sounds for diffrent engines.

why get name brand exhaust?....go to your local exhaust shop and get it custom...its a lot easier, cheaper, also will probably be louder...thats assuming you don't have emissions bullshit in your area..i got my exhaust custom for about $206...he just chopped off the two of the four cats and i had true duals in about an hr..also sounds great....thats on a V8 though...i don't know bout the V6s

I want stainless bc of where I live and no local shops can do a custom stainless system....also I've heard that gibson is better for low end torque and borla is better for hp.....that true?

Yes,

From what I have gathered you are tight on. I just installed the Gibson Stainless Sweptside a few weeks ago and Love it.

Keep in mind that the Borla is a rear exit and the Gibson is a side exit. Makes a difference when offroading and departure angles.

There is a thread I wrote up with a lot of information in it.
