Hi all,
I'm building two separate boxes for the Sony Xplod subs I will be receiving HOPEFULLY next weekend (I've said that about 5 times now) in order to sell them, since nobody apparently wants them if they arent in a box. I have one box put together ready for a sub (looks pretty good for a first time job, if I do say so myself
) and its just a regular box, no angle or nothing, a plain box. Its about 9.25" deep, 15 " tall, and 19" wide I think, and I have the hole cut for the sub and a small hole in back for the terminals. Now, my problem is, should I go ahead and put carpet on the box or put some type of coating over it? I dont want to sell somebody just a plain old ugly box, I want it to look good. Could I put a few coats of bondo or something along those lines on it and then paint it? I'd rather coat it with something than put carpet on it. If I cant use bondo, what can I use? Since the subs are red, I would like to have the box black for a really cool look
Thanks for the help,
Grant
