I know very little about brakes, except for the things I pick up from this website.

I have a stock '95 Explorer XLT 4wd.
Would this be a good pad/rotor combination?

Hawk Performance Ceramic Pads
Brembo Replacement Rotor (plain)

Actually can you recommend an online store that would ship to Canada (not via UPS)?

The pads and fluid are the most vital parts of the Explorer brakes. It is good that you are hunting non local pads. Most pads that you cannot get at local parts stores will be better than anything they have. Manufacturers pads are the standard, get those in a pinch, they are better than the local shop brands.

Yes you don't need pretty rotors, they are for looks, period. Good luck,

I am fond of PowerSlot rotors with Hawke pads. And yes, they do make a difference.

Good luck .....

Which type of Hawk pads would you guys recommend?
-Performance Ceramic Pads
-HPS Street Brake Pads
-LTS Truck/SUV Pads (I just assumed this one)
-HP Super Duty Brake Pads

I just do normal city driving with my Explorer.

Thanks!!
