Brake light issue

My high-bar/third brake light works, but the tail-brake lights are operatic. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Are the bulbs possibly loose? Maybe loose connections to the sockets? Maybe some corroded wiring behind the lights? I would say maybe a bad brake switch but if your 3rd light is working correctly, I doubt it...
