Hi all,

On my 2000 XLT the left brake light doesn't work. The blinker and Lights-on lights work fine and The right side is fine too. I have replace the bulb with 2 different ones and I'm still having an issue.
What do you think are some other things need to check?

Thanks you in advance.

Hi... Is the bulb burning out, or is it not functioning at all?

The bulb didn't seem to be burnt. I tried 2 new bulbs the do work on the right side but nothing happens on the left.

Hmmm...

This sounds similar, but my left tail light kept burning out, just days apart. I went to AutoZone and the gave me this little packet of gel to apply on the metal connectors on the bulb's base. The haven't gone out since.

But yours, if it isn't like that, sounds like it might have a short.

Same thing happened to mine,
I went to a junk yard and got a new bulb holder,
just the thing that holds the bulb and the wire clips into it,
it works fine now, try that out
