The right brake light is not working, the left and third lights work fine. I replaced the bulb, no fix, even took the working one out of the left and it still didn't work. Checked for voltage and ground, there is a ground but no voltage. Looking at a wiring diagram, power goes through a splice (S300) that splits left and right, so it seems like a problem between the splice and the light. I'm trying to find the splice but no luck so far. Would anyone happen to know where that is?

Also, the ABS light is on. I don't think it's related though.

This is on a 98 four door 5.0 AWD.

After messing with it some again last night the light started working. I wiggled and messed with the wiring and can't get it to not work again, so hopefully the problem is fixed.

98 wiring diagram?

I'm glad to hear your problems are solved. Can you post the brake lights wiring diagram? I'm trying to determine which is the power wire and the negative without having to splice anything unnecessarily. The plan is to ad a cigarette lighter to the trunk area getting power from the brake light wiring harness.

Thanks in advance for your help. btw, mine is also a 98, but is a Sport model
