Brake Pedal

Happy New Year! I’m new to the forum so looking forward to learning a lot. My 2020 Limited Eco Boost seems to have an issue when I put the car in reverse twice now I wasn’t able to break all the way down. It felt like the Brake Petal locked up. I had to put car in park and then reverse again which solved the issue. Curious if anyone else has experienced this? Could it be something with the electronics?
