hey everybody!!! so i just replaced my clutch and clutch slave and when i went to bleed the clutch slave i pushed down on the pedal once and i heard a pop then the trickling sound of my bellhousing filling with clutch fluid! i pulled it out and it looks like the cylinder seal blew out... did I do something wrong? did this happen because i didnt gravity bleed it or fill it up first?... which wouldnt make sense because if there was air in the system then all that would happen is that it would compress and id have a soft pedal... Cheers!!

Sounds like a defective unit. I've never heard of that happening before...

Sucks that you have to tear it all down again:banghead:

Buy a Ford slave. They are better then anything else.
