Right now I have the silverstars with the upgraded wireing harness, getting power directly from the battery. What is the wattage of the silverstars? And now that I have more power going to the headlights can I get a higher wattage bulb?

The Silverstars should be the stock 55/65W. With the upgraded harness you should be able to go to a higher wattage, though to other drivers it will seem as though you have your brights on and you may get pulled over.

I bought some headlights for my last Explorer that were "ricer" blue. They were a real high wattage for the high beams, I think 85 watts. They melted my stock wire harness, but were super bright.

So I'll just look for some that are better than 55/65. Thanks.

I just ordered some 80/100's from jcwhitney, they were cheep, I'll try them out
