Broken outside door handle on my 2000 Mountaineer.

Hi,
I have a 00 Mountaineer, and for the most part its a fun car...........but I have my moments.........and just cause I am a girl, I like to learn about how to fix my car and hate to feel intimiadated at the service center......that's why I let hubby take it in, but I need help getting past that.......Thanks
