Broken radiator pet ****

02 Ford Explorer sports trac broken radiator pet **** (drain plug). The plastic drain plug on my radiator was broken off by a former owner. I can see the remaining part of the plug but it is flush with the edge of the mounting hole. Is there a way to remove it And can it be replaced if I do remove it?

You may be able to remove it with a bolt extractor tool.

Another option is to attempt to break it up into small pieces and extract it that way, just don't mess up the threads in the radiator.

Welcome to this forum! Drill a hole into the plastic then use an easy out pipe extractor.
