Bronco tire mount to 97xlt conversion?

now that you mention it, that could be a problem. but it makes me think what about extending the bolts into the stock sub mount in the back? or into the cab maybe?

i'm also working on a custom armrest with some speakers built in. I wanted to do something like it when i had an accord but never got around to it. I need to recover my armrest and reinforce the plastic too cuz its cracking, so i figured now was the best time to work on that.

theres some room but not alot... bracing it into the floor is the way to go in hindsight i think

I'll definitely take this into consideration. sorry bout diggin up an old thread but i was goin through my subscriptions and seen it. i had forgot about this thread completely.
on the other hand though, i did see a bronco with a tire mount at a junkyard the other day. sadly it was rusted pretty badly, probably beyond repair. I'll keep looking though
