Brush Guard Question

This will be quick to answer...

does this brush guard fit an '01 sport trac? it says 2002 to 2005 but arent the 02 and 01 mounts identical!?

No it won't.

You have to have Sport or Sport Trac as the application. The 2002-2005 Explorer is not the same.

yay! and i guess what my real question is...
Why does this one fit, but the other doesnt? Almost everything i see says 2001-2005, so whats the difference between the mounts in a 2001 and 2002?

2002 - 2005 4-door Explorer is a 3rd Generation Explorer. Totally different than what you have.

2001 - 2005 Sport Trac's are based off the 2nd Generation Explorer platform.

Gotcha, I totally didn't realize the product description said explorer not ST. I feel dumb. Thanks tho!!
