close to a year ago (figures) I had a local x2A-MCO r&r my wife's '05 4wd 4.0 tranny.
Almost immediately we noticed when starting an incline, the trans wouldn't want to downshift and the engine would bog down. You'd have to let off the gas and reapply to downshift.
Took it back and they said they "couldn't replicate it".
Now, when driving (usually between 40-50) we'll start to get this bucking sensation. Almost like driving with a trailer that's going toward the car then back away and yanking on the hitch.
Or, as if it's repeatedly trying to down shift and can't.
Hard to explain the feeling. It's not slipping feeling, it's more like a hard downshift at low speeds when a solenoid is going out feeling, but consecutively.
