For those of you with clear corners that don't like the "egg yolk" look of standard amber bulbs or the "disco purple" look of Silver Stars, there's always been the option of silver frosted bulbs. I've been using Superlumination/Autolumination for a few years now for the bulbs in my clear corners. He's a great seller out of AZ that you may see on eBay as well. Anyhow, I burnt out one of my 921 sidemarkers today and wanted to replenish my stock. I notice he's carrying a "chrome dome" version of the bulbs now. He says they're much brighter than the regular silver frosted. I'm giving them a go. Just thought others may be interested. I'm trying them out. I like the look of the silver frosted bulbs, but always found them a bit muted.

Available in 3157 or 921 (916 replacement):

do you know if he sells clear corners and crystal headlights for rangers?

He just sells bulbs and HID kits.

Look to eBay for what you're looking for. That's where Explorer owners tend to get theirs.

i have been dealing with the ebay guys, not much fun...3 of them that have the lenses are within 20 miles of me and they want 50-60 dollars for shipping and they won't let me pick them up...i'm tight when it comes to wasted money, lmao

Yup, those sellers under many names in Southern Cali have some high shipping charges. It's fee avoidance. They reduce the cost on the lights and bump up shipping so they don't have to pay eBay fees on that part of it. That's why they won't let you pick them up in person. The true retail price on those should be higher and they don't want to sell to you at that price.

yea, i don't like dealing with people who aren't up front an honest...but as soon as i get my lights i will be looking into these new bulbs..how much is he getting for the new bulbs? i'll be waiting to see what you think of them...

Pricing is on the site. Check them out. They have all sorts of lighting options.

I would buy from other sellers of those Diamond Cut headlights/corners if I could, but that consortium of sellers in LA area seem to have a monopoly. :thumbdwn:

Im useing the Silver Frost bulbs in my parking Lights. They arent to Bright. At Dead Night they look ok, but I was hoping they would be brighter.

Superlumination/Autolumination is a great site. They shorted my Order, and Quickly got the rest of the order shipped out to me.

I hear ya on the brightness during the day. That's why I'm giving these "Chome Domes" a try. He does have great service. Never been shorted, but he's always been quick to ship and respond to emails when asked. He's been around several years too which says something. Too many Internet businesses come and go.
