Bumper and ball towing question

My friend has to pick up a car tonight, and all i have is a ball on the bumper...we are using a tow dolly, and the car is a 91 eagle talon...i have a v8 AWD, will this do any damage to anything, doing this without a hitch?

You should be okay. I towed a '65 F100 long bed from L.A. to Chico (500 miles) on a flat bed trailer with my bumper. Just drive sane. But if you plan on towing anymore I'd invest in a Drawtite.
