Burnt out display... '98 OEM Stereo

The display on my '98 Sports stereo is burnt out. Is there a way to easily fix this problem, or should I not even bother? It's the Tape/CD version, if that matters.

Bad solder joints on the power supply board. It can be fixed by cleaning and soldering. Do a search for blank radio display. There are new boards available and people who repair the old board.
