C1102 code

[XLT Explorer]

Have a code for my 1999 ford explorer xlt.... C1102 (acceleration switch circuit malfunction) does anyone know where it is? also i have change all 3 of my o2 sensors and i am still getting codes... P0171 and P0174... which are saying bank 1 and 2 too lean.... changed the MAF sensor as well

Welcome. Does your Explorer have the 4.0 SOHC engine? If so here is a link to read & check out. It pertains to a 4.0 SOHC in a Ranger but the Explorer should be the same.

The PO171 & PO174 ae for a vacumn leak. Here is a link to read up on the C1102 code.

Also could be the intake manifold gasket, don't forget to also change the bottom one as well as the top one. My Explorer had that problem, and when I changed mine I could see the previous owner tried changing them but only changed the top one.
