I have a 2004 Mountaineer 4.0 with Automatic HVAC controls. The ECM will not command On the AC compressor. I checked and replaced the pressure switches, receiver/dryer, and orifice tube since they were old anyways and verified 12v to the compressor connector when relay is bypassed. But when bypassed at the relay the front and rear AC does blow cold with 55-60 Low psi and 250 High psi at idle in 95-100F temps. I do, however, suspect and issue with the inside cabin or evaporator temperature sensor possibly sending no signal to the ECM. The problem is that I have no idea where it's located as both the internet And the repair manual that I purchased has zero information on this. Any help is greatly appreciated as I live in Texas and I can't afford for a shop to just say "you need all new components. That'll be $1,299.95 thank you."
