You dont need classes -- you just need a book (or two) and some time behind the stinger.

Im looking at some decent mig's right now..
My Miller 180 just came in today :D Super excited about it. But I can't really test it yet until I finish the wiring -- ohh the wiring, the damn wiring. Oh that and the shielding gas needs to be acquired. The welder is something like $720 shipped on E-bay.

Ditto! All you need it to get a welder and................weld. Just pratice on some junk metal until you get the hang of it, then start fabbin! Oh, you might want to pratice on some scrap tubing before you start welding up a cage. I found that out the hard way. Tubing welds different than flat steel.

saw whens this party?

..I am out for now...I just can't seem to find any free time...:(

Im not in any hurry. If we have to push this out further no biggie. I just think 3-5 vehicles with the owners all working together to bend it up would be great. I only need mine tacked into place since im having Brandon weld it up for me.

waiting foreveryone to decide SOMETHING!!!!!!!

...I was all gung-ho when I had time..Now work is taking my time...But I will let you know when I will be available and maybe we can get this rolling again...:D

I'm tempted to just buy the Competition Engineering roll cage kit that they make for the ranger and throw it in.

Rock Ranger hasn't welded up his gage yet, you could just get ahold of the tubing and duplicate his. Then we could get together and weld them both up.;):D

I gotta get some money together and be able to walk again first.

Well i know a place we can do it. Bender, welder, everything we need is already there. For those of us that cant weld he will even weld up the cage for pretty cheap. We would just have to do all the bending and fitting. Its in Rancho Cucamonga.

Gee i wonder who???? :D

Would like to try to get this going so those of us that wanna do it now can
and we can always have a part duex and half for others later.

See what works for your spot Carlover and we'll go from there.

LOL, yeah Mr Brandon said it would be ok to use his stuff and garage. It would be nice to see if any of the original guys could help, or had anything saved with measurements or anything like that. This will be a new venture for me lol, should be fun though.
