Cage Building Party Part Deux???

ummm I'm not sure that is completly true anymore? He called me the Friday asking questions about installing it:D

I'll come for sure....I need my rear bumper pieces bent to finish the rear bumper;)

That way you could take measurments off of my truck right there:thumbsup:

Sound good to me. Thanks man. Lets see how many people we can get. Id say 3 or 4 expo's to be caged would be the max.

Yea were gonna need that many to get the tubing, plate steel cost reasonable too.

Unless Brandon can get us a killer deal on tubing, plate steel etc.

im sure if we get 3 that will be enough to be a bulk order. Future plans for my ex means i need DOM which will cost me more. But i might be able to get that for a little over 3$ a foot. And probably about 100ft per truck.

...Thanks for the thought, but don't let me hold things up...If time works out for me, i'll jump right in too....My work is just crazy as I'm doing twice as much and spinning my wheels the rest of the time...More smaller jobs but it's picking up...

...Trust me, i'm keeping an eye on this thread..

so any real estimate when we can get started?

FYI - Jefe is not available (he moved to Nashville! ), but his bender is available - still in my garage.

...I thought I seen him on, "The next big country star"...:D

...I hope all is well with him...

Im thinking we are probably gonna wait a little while. 3-4 explorers would be great, and take the whole weekend for sure. Im in for sure when this happens... And im pretty sure Tbars will be in when he has the time.

...If all works out, fingers crossed, I might be doing some front end work about the same time as a cage...:dunno:...But I am still busy working for gas money...

Hmmm do i smell an SAS swap????

...I'm not sure yet but I'm getting tired of replacing parts that get puked out on trail or finding that something is bent or cracked when I get home after an easy run...Either I have to heavily modify what I have and carry lot's of spare parts or find something that's a little more trail friendly...;)

...I might even have to settle with leafs for a while and next year do coils...:dunno:...The economy will let me know what is feasible...

Not to send the thread off in a different direction but when did this happen?

X2 :eek::confused:

Know what ya mean came back from the last big bear run to find out that I bent the a cross member and got all kind of strange noises now coming from the front end.

Might have to establish the Serious Exploration Parts repair truck for these runs in the future;):p:

...Haven't heard from you much lately and I hope things are better...:D

...We would need a solar powered parts truck ,as no one could afford to pay the gas to haul all those parts...
