I read somewhere on here the calipers may be reversable. Is this true? If so, will this allow for more brake-line travel with the 5.5" lift?

I was posting that in reference to the dana 44 I put in last week. If you want I'll take a look at the dana 35 I have sitting on my garage floor and see if it'll work on them too.

Hix,
If you have an axle handy - sure! Check it out!

I noticed the extended brake lines don't leave much room... If the calipers can be switched, I could gain about 4" of brakeline!

Thanks for the help.

Calipers are typically not reversible

Almost all calipers are "handed," i.e., left and right are mirror images.

Ok problem solved...

The calipers would work on opposite sides, however - you can't bleed the brakes as the bleed screw would be on the bottom... Thanks dbarale!
