I did this for the 1998 - and now it's time to do the '05: Link
If you have any of the following injectors, let me know:
2005 Explorer 4.0L
2005 Explorer Sport Trac 4.0L
2005-6 Mountaineer 4.0L

They are marked as follows:
5L2E-D1A - printed on the injector
In catalogs (or @ RockAuto.com), they may be listed as:

So, what do YOU get out of this?
Simple - I do the same thing I did last time, you mail your 6 injectors to me, I lump them with the others (all serialized) and send them in for cleaning at my cost. I provide return shipping via USPS Priority mail.
You get your injectors back, rebuilt with flow data.

So, what do WE get out of this?
EF becomes the premier source of injector data in the '05 Sport Trac community.

And, what do I get out of it?
Nothing but data - my injectors are going, regardless.

Injector Time Results?

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Pre and Post 12/5/05 fuel injectors on the 4.0L V6? The P/Ns are CM5101(Pre) and CM5147(Post). Are these both rated at 24 lbs or is the later part a smaller or somehow improved injector?

Perhaps if His Fredness was successful in his quest, he may have the answer I seek.
